Welcome to the Gippsland Grammar French Blog Spot

This blog is one of a number that I have started up to help teachers become resourced with web 2.0 tools and activities. I will email you when I post something new; a website review or add a website of interest, sooooo, stay tuned.

The website featured this post is well worth exploring. The BBC Languages French website offers an interactive six stage program where vocabulary is learned by listening to a French speaker say the words needed for a specific situation, for example: Food and Drink, Chatting etc... Students can listen to pronunciation, see the written word in French, see a translation into English, guess words, build sentences and speak and write. It really is a fabulous resource for building grammar and also for revision.

The 'course' can be self-paced and self-monitored with a certificate on completion and emails sent each week with tips and encouragement. If you'd like to see how this works, look at the following link: Self-Paced course and click on the Sign-up now link.
